I started caring for children as a teenager. I did a few other things in my young adult years, but always found myself back with kids!

I started my own childcare in 1990, and ran it very successfully. I also got involved with the Head start program. Then in 1999, I began classes to get my CDA (child development associate). In 2001, I completed this venture.
As my children grew, I genuinely thought I wanted to be out in the work force so in 2002, I went to work for the YMCA, I worked as an infant teacher, pre-school teacher, then with 2 1/2- 3 year olds, and last, I was their Kindergarten teacher. This was very rewarding work however; I realized I missed the in-home setting.
My Husband and I Have 5 grown children, we also have seven grandchildren.
You probably wonder so why would I want to do childcare? Because caring for children and their parents is a rewording career. Watching the stages of a Childs life is a blessing.
I am very happy about the family that we have here at my home, and I would like to welcome you to it!
